I offered to make a presentation of my quilts at my local library and the librarian just about leaped across the counter to hug me. She reckons she is going to reel in a huge crowd!Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05117195205038571265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21142238.post-1140617462442397102006-02-22T09:11:00.000-05:002006-02-22T09:11:00.000-05:00How about a "lottery" of some type to forgive your...How about a "lottery" of some type to forgive your library fines? At least it looks like the rest of the winter will be as mild as what we've already had, so I'm guessing spring isn't too far away. Glad you're feeling better!

Can't wait to see the new quilt....

Hugs, SarahSarah Ann Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05917752257414120820noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21142238.post-1140450527493199312006-02-20T10:48:00.000-05:002006-02-20T10:48:00.000-05:00Curious George is reported to be child friendly to...Curious George is reported to be child friendly to the max and very sweet.

Posters-- I've had great success with a combo of wild color and simple who, what, where, when. Make it seem like a "party". We've even fused fabric to poster board and then painted the words on. collage style. Since it's the library--use words from the newspaper or magazines in the background, fabric color slashes and then the words--maybe computer generated and glued to a midpoint--clear and readable. Make them in an assembly line--then you can get rid of number 1 and 2 and be thrilled with the rest ( where you let loose ) If I was nearby-I'd help!!!Joanne Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01623855664379207620noreply@blogger.com
