For all my loyal blog readers (and I know there are a couple of you out there), I'm still here, though not there any more. Our second Sunday in our new temporary hometown, Camden ME. Temporary for the next few months until our house is completed. It's a lovely spot and very different from what we're used to. It's kind of fun to be able to walk downtown for breakfast, or to the art supply store which is no more than 5 minutes downhill. I have a new little wren I'm working on which I'll post pics of soon, a bit of fiber duff. In the meantime, I'm wondering if I have the expertise to do this beautiful eye justice in fabric.

From what I've seen of your other projects, I'm sure you can do the eye. I look forward to seeing your wren. Your birds have such character.

I'm glad to see the update and happy for you. I've been wondering how your "math" class ended. I thought the idea of the fabric studies based on what you were learning was fascinating.

I would include that beautiful "eye" on my bulletin board in the art room. I, too, like "eyes" and YES! I think you can do it.

Living, for even a short while, within walking distance to a city is divine. Enjoy it while you wait. I know Riley and i would like to take a walk and end it with a coffee at some outdoor spot. I would need to drive in and then drive back home--not as wonderful.
