Blue Skies

I am pondering new years resolutions concerning my 'art'. Do something daily. Something done weekly. Doing something 30 days in a row. I'm seeing plenty of resolutions on other blogs, and I hesitate to throw mine out into the universe for fear of failure, or, because everyone else is doing it. It's like announcing you're going to lose weight, and when it doesn't go exactly the way you want, people are disappointed in you, and worse, you're disappointed in yourself. So I' ll keep my resolutions to myself for now, but maybe, just maybe you'll see more fiber related things appearing here in the coming year. AND more things appearing here, on my blog, in the coming year!

I'll be working on mastering some thread painting, using what I see around me daily. Things I see on my walks, things that inspire me to want to rush home and sit at my machine to create something out of thread and fabric. Maybe a little paint too. Perhaps when I get to the end, I'll have picked up some valuable skills.

I'm so happy to see you back and will look forward to more posts this year. I do like what I see of the current work.

I'm also glad to see you back. I love your work! We seem to be inspired by the same things, our outdoor surroundings.

Blogging more often doesn't mean a new piece every time. We do like what we see here though!!!!!

I try not to mention my weight loss goals as then people DO look to see if anything is happening and they watch what you eat. And comment.

I would like to have a daily art thing to do but also can't think what would hold my interest. Perhaps a variety of things. Right now I am traveling down memory lane with old UFOs. Like an anchor dragging me down. I may have to give it up.
