Work in Progress

This is the piece I've been working on these days. It's what I consider mixed media...paint on fabric as well as photographs printed directly onto fabric as well as beads and fibers and some embroidery. I'm working on the reflections in the lower part right now and not having all that much fun. The pieces are all too pointy and I really don't like that big empty space in the middle. But I'll get it. Eventually.

This work in progress is wonderful, Kathy! I hope that you will have close-up photos some time. I'd love to see it closer.

Oh, I think this is terrific! Don't change too much. I don't see the "problems" you pointed out.

Wow! My husband thinks this is terrific too. He was watching over my shoulder. I think the changes you made are perfect. You are one talented woman. Han

Kath...I can't believe you're unhappy...I was going "yes yes YES" as I was reading and looking, and then you're not quite right with it. Hmmm..
here's a thought...what about printing the photo of the row boats onto a sheer fabric. Turn that upside down and add Misty Fuse, then cut wavy strips and fuse that into the middle so there is an echo of the boats, but it is still watery????? Or something like that? Or not?

Personally, I think it is FANTABULOUS!
